The PSM certification, offered by Scrum.org, is a globally recognized credential for individuals who want to validate their knowledge and understanding of Scrum practices. It demonstrates your proficiency in leading and supporting Scrum teams and applying Scrum in real-world scenarios.
There are no formal prerequisites for the PSM certification, but it is recommended that participants have a basic understanding of Scrum principles. Completing a Professional Scrum Master course or gaining experience working in a Scrum environment can be helpful.
You can register for the PSM exam directly on the Scrum.org website. Create an account, select the exam level, and make the payment to schedule your exam.
The PSM I exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions that need to be completed within 60 minutes. You must score 85% or higher to pass..
The PSM I exam costs $150. The fees are non-refundable, but you have a chance to retake the exam if you don't pass on the first attempt (for a discounted fee).
